Check out how big I am now!!

I will say luckily Memo keeps telling me I look lovely... so I will just choose to belive him! :) All is going well. He finished the kiddo's room. I promise to post pictures after this weekend. It looks great! I am soooo proud. He worked so hard on it.

We went to the Dr today. I forgot the CD of the pics at the office, but I promise to post them next week. It was a growth one so we really got to see them for quite a bit of time. All is well... except that Dr's like to scare you. Liliah is 2 lbs 11 oz, Dixon is 2.14 and little Devin is 1.14. they were worried about his size difference. So of course they kind of got us into a frenzy. They sent me over for a steroid shot to the hospital and the Dr there made me feel much better! He basically said the ultrasounds can be off up to a pound at this point and Devin scored an 8 out of 8 on his other test (it measured his heartbeat, fluid, movement, and something else that I forgot already) so for me to relax. He was so reassuring it totally made me feel better. I was kind of a wreck before that. Anyway, so now I have to get another steroid shot tomorrow. Then we hav eot go back to the office on the following tuesday for another unltrasound. Oh yeah, one cool thing was this.. you'll see it in the pictures, but Devin was sucking on his toes!! Too cute. Also he and Dixon had the hiccups during the ultrasound so you could see their little bodies shaking with hiccups. it was really cool. Lilah showed well, it seems she has a full head of hair.. surprise surprise. I do promise as a mother to tell her the pros and cons of shaving vs waxing as she gets older... being that I also am a hair monger... :)

Ok, that is enough for now. Have a lovely afternoon!

HAPPY LATE VALENTINES DAY!!!!

Ok, so i have to brag a bit... I had one of the best Valentine's days in my life. Memo told me to clear Sunday, so I did. He wouldn't tell me what we were doing....he took me to the Renaissance Festival-http://emol.org/azrenfest/intro2.html
I know some of you are thinking "why would he want to drag his poor pregnant, swollen footed wife around 10 acres?" welllll there is a good explanation for it all. Being that it was Valentine's day, they were doing a special renewel of vows. SO we had our vows renewed in front of the queen. It was fabulous! Not to mention we had a great day walking around and watching the silly shows. We were both tired as can be by the time we got home but wow what a great day. Then we get home and he has another thing for me... this great necklace- It's kind of hard to see in the picture, it has three little figurines on it. Liliah is in the middle, just like in life! :)

Yesterday's appointments

Ok, first off I will apologize. I can't seem to make it througha whole day at work, home then make it a point to blog. Truly sorry for all that. I know some were worried about me after last week... I guess I have a bit of ground to cover, so here goes-

Memos hands are healing well. He went to the Dr today and the the doctor was amazed at how quickly he had healed. I will say I am proud of what good care he took of his hands. We kept them wrapped to keep the dirt out for the entire week. He is released to go back to regular duty now!! YEAH.. I know that makes him happy.. he was going stir crazy not doing anything but the baby room... which by the way is all painted adn ready for flooring.

Next Step- Kiddos- We went to the Dr yesterday. After everything bad last week we were both a tad worried going into the appointment. We sat back for the ultrasound and held hands waiting to see our kids.... they were all well!!! Lilah was all twisted up. She was quite cute. Dixon was smashed into his sister and pushing hard against her. It's hard to define them now that they are so big. Devan gave us a GREAT side view! If you look back, you can see Lilah's profile too... kind fo funny that you can see the difference between them by their little noses! I think Devan has Memo's forehead! :) It seems all is well. They did put me on insulin for my diabetes. Kind fo sucks but Memo is looking forward to shooting me daily. He keeps laughing and saying it's payback for me shooting him every day. Totally not fair. But at least mine is only for a little bit. Sooooo other than the diabetes, all is well.

LITTLE LILAH AND THE BIG WEEKEND

This past week has been uite a week... here's a quick catchup on things.

Last Friday at the end of the work day Mom, Dan and I were shutting down the plant. Mom went and let the dogs out... wellll they were a bit excited to getout and big ole Fred (a 1.5 year old great dane who weighs 115 lbs) plowed into MOm as he was playing with Baler (the other watch dog) Neither Dan nor I even had a second to react and catch her. She fell smack dab on her hip on the concrete. After she sat still she tried to get up and realized pretty uickly that something was wrong. Dan helped me to load her in the car and off we went to the hospital.

After way too many hours in the ER(we didn't leave until 2 am) they pronounced that her hip was broken and she woul dneed a replacement. Just the way all of us wanted to spend our weekend... especially Mom! It was a long long night.. probably longest for Mom. They finally got they finally got her into a room at 1:00 AM. Memo (who had joined us about 7 after he fed) and I headed home ot get Mom her comfy pillows and anything that might make her feel a little better! Headed back to the hospital and finally truly headed home around 2:00 am. The bad part is that once we were home neither of us could fall asleep. Then of course when the alarm went off at 6:30 boom we were both up! We made some breakfast and headed back to the hospital. Long story short, Mom's surgery ended up being SUnday. So we spent Saturday between taking care of Nannya nd hanging with Mom. Then Sunday Memo took care of Nanny and I headed to the hospital for her surgery. It's funny because we didn't do much physically but wow did it beat me up! Good thing is that Mom is a toughie and she is already home and on her way to full recovery. She truly amazes me. She may be tiny but WOW is she mighty

to
Soooo Mondaya I got to work about 6:00 am because i knew I needed to go through Mom's stuff at work and get everything in line. I also had a ton of other things since it was the month end for us as well. I won't bore you with the work stuff, but let's just say it was a tadd stressful. I noticed as long as I kept going, then I was ok. About 2:00 I just felt off... I called the Dr and they wanted me to come the office ASAP. Memo met me over there and they did an ultrasound first. That's where this little Lilah picture comes from, cute nose huh? The babies were not in distress but it seems I was headed into preterm labor. I had some bleeding and some contractions. My cervix had shortened and also gotten "mushy" They chose to give me a magnesium drip and put me on my back and measure my contractions for a bit. As soon as they could, they sent me home and put me on bedrest. Well, you all know me and sitting on my butt has not made for an easy week, but it is well worth it in the long run. It's Friday now, and I feel fine. Memo had to have his surgery for his hands on Wednesday. So other than that day I have been a good girl and laid on my tush. I am sure you are tired of reading now, so I will close it out. Needless to say a I lay here I have been trying to think of things to do.... so I practiced swaddling on Maggie (my little dog!) What do you think?
